SEYI BABATOPE
A biography is basically a tale of the tape and I don't want to bore anyone with details that I find fascinating so here goes

I was born in Lagos Island Nigeria, definitely the school of hard knocks. I attended Nigerian Navy Secondary School then I skipped town and moved to England. The Cold weather was hard on a brother. I did my foundation in higher education at the University of Kent at Canterbury and later the University of West England Bristol.

England was fun but I skipped town across the Atlantic and ended up in California, Long Beach State University where I majored in Film and Electronic Arts. Whilst I was in school I directed a cable access talk show 'COLLEGE BEAT" and some commercials for the school which were fun and gave me a taste of the lager world of film production.

Internship was big for me because I got a chance to work for huge directors Hype Williams, Malik Sayeed, Andrew Dosunmu to name a few. The Later Andrew was very instrumental in mentoring me through the ropes. A Nigerian in Hollywood, I didn't know anybody so I hit him up and the brother was cool. We became close I even wrote him the treatment for the artist Mr. Vegas "Pull Up". So there you have it. I haven't won any awards yet but give a brother some time and you'd be the first to know. I think that's all anyone needs to know except maybe I'm a die hard Los Angeles Laker Fan, love Nigerian Green and super Eagles, and I love my mother and four sisters and my dad. I think that covers it the rest is to be continued. Aluta continua
